The Central Okanagan Performing Arts Festival plays a pivotal role in nurturing the talents of youth performers artists, offering them a platform to perform, learn, and grow through the arts, across the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and further afield.

To provide the community with opportunities to experience live chamber music in intimate settings as performed by accomplished musicians at all stages of their careers.
Provides grants to qualified donees representing a broad cross section of charities within our community including the areas of health, arts and culture, emergency services, and other organizations that provide services to people in needy circumstances.

I really appreciated the experience of the competition and I know other young musicians did too! I have participated in the festival for many years and I always learn something valuable from the experience. These scholarship funds will go towards my education at UBC in Vancouver, where I hope to continue engaging in music through choirs and other ensembles.
I know you devote a lot of hours towards the festival and my family and I really appreciate your commitment to the arts.
I participated in the 2022 Kelowna Kiwanis Festival in the grade 10 violin class. I was very honoured to receive the Shining Star award from Chamber Music Kelowna. Thank you very much for the award, it will help go towards a new violin that I have been saving for. I look forward to next year’s festival.
Thank you for continuing to support the dance community by hosting the festival each year. It is so important to me and to many of my friends that it happened this year, since the past few ones have been canceled due to Covid. This festival allows us to express ourselves in a safe and welcome environment, which I believe we all need in a time like this. Thank you again!
I was the successful recipient of your generously awarded Achievement Scholarship for Best Intermediate Musical Theatre. For the past five years I have studied Musical Theatre and Classical Voice. I also love playing the piano and bass guitar. I plan to pursue the performing arts as my future career. I will be using these funds toward furthering my vocal studies.
